When you’re a new mother, there’s no better person in the world to get advice from than another mother. In motherhood, you learn through experiences.

It wasn’t too surprised when my friend Cynthia came to me depressed because she was up all night dealing with her baby’s teething pain. She said that she had been like that for over a week, and she can’t take much more. Her baby wouldn’t eat, sleep, and just screamed, cried, and whined all day long.

The doctor recommended Tylenol and Motrin, but that wasn’t really working. She said that it takes the edge off, but it’s not too long later that she starts again. Plus, she didn’t feel comfortable giving her baby medicine every single day.

I knew exactly what she was going through because I had been going through it just a few months prior. My baby was inconsolable. I thought I was going to lose my mind. It reminded me of the colic days.

What helped me was a baby amber necklace, or what I should say is that it helped her. Indirectly, it helped me because she was so much happier when she wore it. Actually, she still wears it because she’s still teething, and the amber keeps her from all of the symptoms of it. Since the necklace has to be against her body to release the treatment oil, we leave it on her wrist instead of taking it off every night. That way we don’t even have to remember to put it back on her in the morning.

How Amber Helps

Amber is a fossilized tree resin that has been used for centuries by Europeans and Middle Easterners. They used it to improve their immune system to fend off illnesses and ailments. They used it to treat colds, the flu, arthritis, headaches, nausea, and much more.

Only the best amber is effective. The Baltic regions produce the best, such as Lithuania. Baltic Wonder is one of the only sellers that source their amber from Lithuania, so I bought mine through them.

When I told Cynthia about my experience, she was really excited to try it. She decided to purchase it from the same place that I did, and in about three days, she had the necklace.

She put it on her baby and at our next playdate, she told me that her sweet little baby was back! The amber teething necklace worked, and she was so happy that I told her about it. I was happy too because I felt that I was able to use my experience as a mother to help someone.

I know so many mothers go through the teething nightmare and they don’t know what to do about it because their doctor just says to give their baby Tylenol and/or Motrin and teething rings. These options may work on some babies and for some mothers, but not all of them. For those it doesn’t help, I hope that they can benefit from a Baltic amber teething necklace.
