Rug Doctor cleans only in ONE direction when being pulled backward. You have to expend a lot more physical labor to tip the heavy machine and push it forward, just so you can drag it backward to clean it again. Even with extra vacuuming, the carpet was left very wet. The Rug Doctor and the Rug Doctor Oxy-Steam Carpet Cleaner with Oxygen Cleaning Boosters did not handle the traffic areas or stains.
